Terms of Use
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These terms govern your use of RidePals — both the app and this website. By using RidePals you accept what is described here.
What RidePals is
RidePals is a platform for discovering and joining group rides created by other people. Rides, clubs and their content are created and run by the people who use the app. Any ride you join is arranged between you and the other people taking part in it.
What RidePals is not
RidePals does not organize, lead, supervise, or control any ride, route, or participant.
RidePals also does not employ, vet, or endorse hosts, clubs, or riders. You decide which rides you attend, and you are responsible for your own safety, equipment, and decisions during any ride.
What “Verified” means
A “Verified” badge means only that the person linked a Strava account showing at least three cycling activities in the previous six months. It is not an identity check, a background check, or an assessment of skill, fitness, or trustworthiness.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you post, including the names, descriptions and images of rides and clubs. By using RidePals, you agree not to:
- post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to a club;
- post false or misleading information about a ride, its route, or its meetup point;
- use another person's contact details obtained through RidePals — including their emergency contact — for anything other than safety during the ride you share;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Accounts
You can stop using RidePals and delete your account at any time from your profile in the app. RidePals may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The current version is always at this URL, and the date shown above is when it was last updated.
